I thought I was home free. All the guests except for two, who were coming with me up to our boarding school in Kijabe for Alumni weekend, departed safely. We had but a short drive from Naivasha up to the house where we would be staying. The house was only a couple of miles from the school. And my older sister, who always fixes everything while I take a nap, would be there. As we pulled out of the Naivasha lodge, I took some deep, cleansing breaths and congratulated myself.
